We'd love you to join us to celebrate our wedding.
Our ceremony will be held at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and followed by a big ol' party at Summertown Studios. It's all happening on Saturday, April 1st 2023 (no, it's not an April fools joke - we are really getting married!)

Where it all began

It all began in 2017 when Jimmy moved into the share-house Hayley was living at Mile End. After a year of playing it cool, Jimmy made a move. 
 
Smitten, they headed to Sydney to work in the big smoke. After a while, they both decided this was a good thing, and they should lock it in. One day in covid-lockdown, they took a long walk along the harbour, sat on a bench, and put a ring on it.

Ceremony

3:00 pm

The wedding ceremony will be held at 3:00pm the Economic Gardens in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. We recommend arriving at 2:45pm to give yourself  time to locate this part of the gardens - you'll find it in the north-west corner. 
After the ceremony, buses will pick up guests from 4:00pm at Plane Tree Drive (outside Botanic Gardens) and transport you to the reception at Summertown Studios. Please RSVP if you would like a spot on that bus.

Reception

4:30pm til midnight

A cocktail reception will follow with drinks, pizza & paella, & groovy-tunes playing til midnight. Don’t be confused by the name of the reception venue – Summertown Studio is indeed in Somerton Park (not Summertown – think beach, not hills!)
After the ceremony, buses will transport guests to Summertown Studios. But if you want to drive, there is some parking in the streets nearby. At the end of the night, buses will be available to transport guests back to North Terrace in Adelaide City. Please RSVP if you would like a spot on that bus.

FAQs

Dress code

The dress code is 'Fruity formal'
What does that mean? Good question. Think along the lines of colourful cocktail dress, fruity shirts, and summery vibes. But we really just want to see you, however you decide to dress on the day.
Be mindful that Summertown Studio is partly inside-outside. There is over-head cover, but you will feel the weather, so look at BoM and take that into account. 

Kids

You are very welcome to bring children to the ceremony at the Botanic Gardens. Unfortunately we do not have capacity to host kiddos at the reception. 

Gifts

We really appreciate you making an effort to attend our wedding; your presence is truly the greatest gift of all. If you would like to give a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. There will be a Wishing Well at the reception or you can use our online registry by clicking here. The password for the online registry is hayleyandjimmy (same as for this website). 

How do I RSVP?

Easy! Just click on the top right-hand corner of this website where it says “RSVP” and follow the prompts. You’ll also be able to let us know if you want a spot on the bus or have any dietary requests. If you could RSVP by 17th February 2023 we would really appreciate it!
